This is a practical quick-reference manual of equine dermatology, fully illustrated in colour, and diagnostically oriented. General chapters cover the approach to the dermatological case, diagnostic procedures and principles of treatment. A short section provides flow charts to assist in the diagnosis of clinical problems. Subsequent chapters give essential information on diseases and conditions, presented in note form according with information organised, following a uniform template (disease profile, clinical signs, differential diagnosis, diagnostic confirmation and treatment). It also covers skin conditions of the horse occurring worldwide and includes discussion of hoof disorders and skin wounds.
